Suggested Chapter Itinerary

September (or beginning of school year)

1.       Send 6 copies of mailing list to Supreme Signare.

2.       Begin collecting activity fees from active fraters.

3.       Find out when and where Winter Regional will be held and publicize to chapter.

4.       Try to obtain a central mailing location at school that can be used year after year.  This will make it easier for Supreme to communicate with the undergraduate chapters on a regular basis.

5.       Elect or appoint a Supreme Council Member from your chapter and notify the Supreme Signare.


October


1.       Send in minutes from September chapter meeting to Supreme officers.

2.       Send in September’s Excheque report to Supreme officers.

3.       Begin thinking about publishing first issue of newspaper.

4.       Begin making travel plans for the Winter Regional.

5.       Select your chapters candidate for the Supreme Undergraduate Award

6.    Start to gather a biographical sketch, transcript of grades and letters of recommendation for your undergraduate award candidate.  Send them to the Supreme Sub-Directorum by December 1st!!!

7.    Do you have an agenda for your chapter’s charitable work, national project, continuing education, screenings, etc.


November


1.       Send in minutes from October chapter meeting to Supreme officers.


2.       Send in October’s Excheque report to Supreme officers.

3.       By now your first issue of your chapter newspaper should be published. Send 5 copies to the Supreme  Sub-Directorum.


4.          Begin to prepare your chapter report for presentation at the Winter Regional.  The report should be 
sent  to the Supreme Signare at least 10 days before the Regional.                                                                                                                                                                            

December


1.       Send in minutes for November chapter meeting to Supreme officers.

2.       Send in November’s Excheque report to Supreme officers.

3.       Another newspaper should be published soon. Send in 5 copies to the Supreme  Sub-Directorum.

4.       Have you sent in your activity fees and chapter tax yet?

5.       Have you sent in your 6 copies of the chapter mailing list ? Deadline is January 1st.

6.       Finalize plans for attending the Winter Regional.

January
1.       Send in minutes for December chapter meeting to Supreme Officers.
2.       Send in December's Excheque report to Supreme officers.
3.       Your second newsletter should be published by now!! Send 5 copies to the Supreme Sub-Directorum.
4.       Are you in good financial standing? The deadline is February 15th!!
5.       Have you chosen a recipient for the Simon Sless Award (undergraduate chapters) or the Ephriam Sless Award (alumni chapters).  Send the name of the recipient and the date of presentation to the Supreme Signare. 

6.       Scholarship applications due by April 1st to the Effie Sless fund chairman.
 

February

1.       Send in minutes for January chapter meeting to Supreme Officers.

2.       Send in January's Excheque report to Supreme officers.

3.       Don't forget you still need at least one more newspaper published before the end of the school year. Send 5 copies of each to the Supreme Sub-Directorum.

4.       The deadline for good financial standing is February 15th.  Are your activity fees and chapter tax paid?


5.
       Contributions to the Ephriam G. Sless and Roy Scott funds must be made soon.


6.       Make sure charity and continuing education activities are in the chapter minutes so that you get credit for the Directorums cup.

7.       Start thinking about Azoan report.  Send a chapter picture to the editor!

8.       Scholarship applications due by the 15th of March.

9.      Should start to prepare Historian report for the year
  

10.   
Make sure that your chapter delegate to the Winter Regional gives a full report at your chapter meeting. 

March

1.      Send in minutes for February chapter meeting to Supreme officers.

2.       Send in February's Excheque report to Supreme officers.

3.       Chapter newspaper? Send 5 copies to the Supreme Sub-Directorum.

4.       Don't forget to send in your Spring Rush receipts to the Supreme Excheque for reimbursement.  Supreme will cover up to $200 per year. $100 per semester.

       Review Directorums Cup Checklist.  Check scoring list in Supreme Newsletter.  If there are any discrepancies contact the Supreme Signare immediately.


6.       Azoan report may be due!! Did you send in your chapter picture.?

7.      Scholarship applications due by the 1st of April..

8.      Find out when and where the Summer Convention will be held and announce to chapter. 

April

1.       Send in minutes for March chapter meeting to Supreme officers.

2.       Send in March's Excheque report to Supreme officers.

3.       Chapter Newspaper? Don't forget you need a minimum of 3 issues by May 15th.  Send 5 copies to the Supreme 2nd Sub-Directorum.

4.       Begin preparing your chapter report for the Summer Convention.

5.       School is about over, don't forget:
                   
                 A) Historian report with picture
               
                 B) Azoan report should be in Azoan Editors hands by now!!
                
                 C) List of graduating Fraters with home addresses to Supreme Signare.

6.       Review Directorums Cup Checklist.  This is your last chance to get things done.

A) Charity work

B) Continuing education projects.

C) Contributions to Roy Scott and Effie Sless funds.

                 D) At least 3 newspapers.

7.       Send list of new officers, along with addresses, after elections are held to Supreme Signare and Supreme Associate Signare. (figure 7) 

May

1.      Last chance for the newspaper due by May 15th

2.       List of graduating Fraters.

3.       List of new chapter officers.

4.       Send in minutes of April meeting to Supreme Officers.


5.
       Send in April's Excheque report to Supreme Officers.


6.       Publicize the Summer Convention and make travel arrangements to attend.

7.      The Summer Convention is in July, plan on attending.
