National Auxiliary President
Greetings from the National Auxiliary President It is with great happiness and honor that I stand before you this evening. I am humbled to be holding a position that has been held by so many marvelous women before me. In 1964, when I first started to attend NY Alumni Auxiliary meetings I was in the company of not only NY Auxiliary Presidents but some of our notorious National Auxiliary Presidents. Three of whom were Esther Kirschner, Mimi Boonshaft and Fran Breslau-I know that Fran is from NJ but she was very much a part of NY. Now after 44 years my time has come. I would be remiss if I did not mention all the marvelous Auxiliary Presidents from then until now. I honor them all. I look forward to working closely with my board colleagues. I am part of a team. If you are part of a team you know that the success of your endeavors depends on how well you work together for the common good and final outcome. With my team I know that we will be winners. We are here to help the Fraternity in any way we can. My husband, Supreme Directorum, Harry “You are the wind beneath my wings”. Your success will be a measurement of my success. My team and I are here for you and your team. I want to thank all of you who are here tonight-friends and family. This is a good time to introduce our family. Our darling son, Seth and our loving granddaughters Nancy and Jordanna. Seth’s, significant other ,Sherry and her children Juan and Sierra. Our Cleveland cousins, Rabbi Susan Stone and her son Charles and Janet and Richie Stotter and their daughter Sarah. We are truly touched by having all of you here. Our special project will be The National Kidney Foundation- working along with the Fraternity. Again, it is truly a great honor to be chosen to serve as your Auxiliary President for the coming year. I assure you the privilege and accompanying responsibility is not taken lightly. I pledge to serve you and the Fraternity with honor, integrity and dedication.
One final but most important
message-Gloria and Lou again a million thanks for everything! What a
Convention! |
