The intended audience of this knowledge-based webinar is for pharmacists, providing additional knowledge to assist in their practice of pharmacy and for other non-pharmacist health care professionals. The credit issued will be 2 hours for this webinar, for a total of 0.2 live credit contact hours. There is no cost for this activity for paid members of WRSP, HVPS, and AZO. $25 for everyone else.

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
Review the prevalence of chronic asthma and COPD
Identify the signs and symptoms that can be used to assess an asthma attack
Explain the underlying disease process of asthma and COPD
Describe the appropriate asthma and COPD control and monitoring
Describe a step-wise approach to selection and tailoring medications for the patient with asthma
List pertinent medication counseling points for the patient with asthma
